Mendocino Community Health Clinic

The Mendocino Community Health Clinics strives to fulfill its goal of providing excellent health care to the most vulnerable people in the communities they serve. This commitment to providing valuable health services to all has been a part of the Mendocino Community Health Clinics (MCHC) since its inception. In 1992, due to the County Hospital closing its outpatient unit, MCHC was formed and became certified as a Federally Qualified Health Clinic (FQHC), using the County Hospital outpatient site. At the site, in addition to continuing medical and behavioral services, MCHC was able to add oral health services. In 1994, MCHC remodeled and moved into its current site at 333 Laws Avenue, Ukiah, known as the Hillside Health Center. Extending its vision, in 1995 MCHC opened Lakeside Health Center in Lakeport. Five years later, with the assistance of The Howard Foundation of Willits and federal funding, Little Lake Health Center was opened. Today, MCHC continues to serve its community and is proud to be able to provide comprehensive health services to all.
