GraceMed Health Clinic has provided quality health care for uninsured and underinsured residents of south central Kansas since 1979.
GraceMed is a Christian health care ministry whose mission is “To show and share the love of Jesus Christ by providing compassionate, accessible, high quality health care for residents of south central Kansas.”
We’ve just completed our reports for 2010 and gladly share that GraceMed’s health care ministry provided care for 21,780 unduplicated patients through 41,865 provider visits last year. This is obviously more people served and more lives touched with love and compassion than in any previous year. And, demand for our primary health care (medical and dental) services continues to increase.GraceMed is a Christian health care ministry whose mission is “To show and share the love of Jesus Christ by providing compassionate, accessible, high quality health care for residents of south central Kansas.”
If we take the last quarter of 2010 and apply it to a full year, we anticipate providing care through 55,000 patient visits in 2011. In order to meet this increase in demand, we are again looking at expansion and pray God will provide the opportunities and the resources to touch more lives in 2011 and beyond. Very soon, we will break ground at our GraceMed Good Samaritan Clinic, expanding the facility to accommodate at least two more medical providers. We are also evaluating a site to host both prenatal and pediatric care services. We are fortunate to have a number of medical and dental provider candidates expressing interest in working with the GraceMed ministry, so we are seeking space to hire and put these folks to work. We appreciate your prayers and financial support for the GraceMed ministry and look forward to reporting God’s continued blessings through the remainder of this year.
