Virtual mental health help for nurses at the frontline of COVID-19 pandemic

Healthcare Network is pleased to share the WINK News segment featuring our For the Frontline virtual conversation series discussing the psychological impacts of COVID-19 on frontline healthcare workers ending in June 2020.

We often refer to our healthcare workers as heroes. As we express our genuine respect and appreciation, we must not lose sight of the fact that these heroes are humans with limitations. While no one is completely immune to the emotional and psychological impacts of COVID-19, our frontline healthcare workforce is particularly vulnerable as they strive to balance caring for patients with concerns for their own well-being and that of their family and friends. The need to respond to our healthcare workforce is especially critical because the recovery efforts of communities everywhere depend upon it. The For the Frontline conversation series will focus on reactions, coping strategies and resilience building related to COVID-19.
