Founded over 40 years ago as a Federally Qualified Health Center, HRHCare Community Health is one of the nation’s largest community health providers. The HRHCare network of 28 health centers throughout the Hudson Valley and Long Island provides affordable, accessible care to over 175,000 patients through more than 650,000 visits annually. The more than 350 primary care practitioners and 700 specialists and support staff have made HRHCare a destination for convenient, high-quality care for all.
HRHCare has a profound commitment to the communities it serves, and works to improve community health through partnerships and collaborations with local community leaders, businesses, social service agencies, housing organizations, food banks, agricultural worker alliances, and other local stakeholders. HRHCare believes if it wants to ensure quality care for its patients, it should ensure quality pay for its staff, which is why it provides a minimum living wage of $15 an hour for all employees.
HRHCare health centers provide primary and preventive treatment including, but not limited to, adult and pediatric care; obstetrical and gynecological care; dental services; behavioral health; nutrition counseling; HIV care; health education; and a full complement of outreach, translation, transportation, benefits counseling and health insurance enrollment assistance. Excelling in patient care, the HRHCare network has received the Gold Seal of approval from the Joint Commission, the highest level of Patient Centered Medical Home recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance, and is a designated Planetree affiliate.
